What is permanent jewelry?

 Permanent Jewelry pieces are dainty bracelets, anklets, rings, belly chains, and necklaces that are custom fit and welded onto you without a clasp!

We offer an assortment of chains and charms that we custom fit using a quick and painless micro-welding technique to connect the ends without a clasp.

Does permanent jewelry hurt?

Not at all! We use a micro-welder to join the two ends of your chain without a clasp. We also use a leather protective guard to protect your skin.

Do I need an appointment?

We do offer local appointments during the week. Weekend appointments are limited and dependent upon pop up event scheduling. Appointment are not required for most pop up events. Majority pop-up events are first come, first served unless otherwise stated on an event flyer.

For all individual appointment, there is a $20 booking fee that is required for each guest. This booking fee will be applied to your total the day of your appointment. 

Each appointment is allotted 15 -20 minutes. This will allow enough time to choose your custom piece(s) and/or charms without feeling rushed.

What materials do we use?

We use 14k gold filled, sterling silver 925, and stainless steel chains to prevent turning and tarnishing. 

Sterling silver chains may oxidize more quickly especially in the ocean or any hot tub or pool with chemicals.

Gold filled jewelry is composed of a thick layer of solid 14K Gold that is bonded to a base metal. The gold layer is 100x's thicker than gold plated jewelry, so it won't wear off or tarnish like thinner gold-plated jewelry would. In fact, as a result of this thick coating, every necklace is guaranteed to have at least 5% genuine 14K gold. Gold filled may last longer but is not solid gold so discoloration for “permanent” wear may occur. 

Stainless Steel is also very durable and strong. 

Dulling of chains over time is NORMAL. Dulling can be slowed by proper care. Discoloration can also occur when exposed to excessive sweat, the ocean, harsh chemicals etc. Discoloration can go away by washing  with a light soap, dry, and buff with the provided jewelry cloth.

Chipping of colored enamel chains is normal and this occupancy is dependent upon each customer’s daily activities. Some enamel chains may not experience any chipping, while others may experience mild chipping, and some may experience excessive chipping. If for any reason excessive chipping occurs, a replacement enamel chain can be provided at a discounted price, as long as the chain is present. 

What if it breaks?

Permanent jewelry is still the same as removable normal day to day jewelry. It is not indestructible. It can break like any other jewelry pieces.

We are not responsible for lost, snagged, or broken chains. If any of these happen, a new chain will have to be purchased.

Please be cautious when taking off clothing and not to grab your piece by accident and break the chain.

However, If for some reason your piece breaks or falls off we will offer a free re-weld as long as you still have all pieces.

The longevity of your jewelry ultimately depends on many factors like lifestyle, body chemistry, and care.

What if I need to take it off?

If you need to remove it you can simply use a pair of wire cutters or, if the chain is dainty enough you could even use scissors.

If you need to remove the bracelet for a medical need (MRI, surgery, etc.) we will offer a free re-weld. Please remove your bracelet carefully and save all parts. 

How old do I have to be?

We do not recommend permanent jewelry for babies and toddlers, however we allow the ultimate decision to be at the discretion of the parent.

You must be accompanied by a parent or guardian if you are under the age of 15.

What if I have skin sensitivity?

We do not recommend purchasing permanent jewelry if you have sensitivities to gold, silver, or other base metals. We are not responsible for any skin sensitivity reactions and do not issue refunds for these instances.

It is important to note that everyone is different. We can react differently to certain metals based on things we eat and drink, products we use, and places we may submerge our jewelry. Many people are allergic to white gold because of the nickel content. All of these things need to be taken into consideration prior to making the decision to get a permanent piece.

Do you offer refunds or exchanges?

Due to custom pieces, we do not offer refunds or exchanges. All sales are final, and no refund will be given.

Can I get one with a Clasp?

100% YES! Not everyone likes wearing their jewelry 24/7 so this is a popular option. You will still have the same experience if you choose a clasp over claspless (permanent). This is because you are still getting a custom fit bracelet and the clasp will be zapped to your chain, so it does not fall off. Adding a clasp is an additional $10 charge. 

 Do you offer private party reservations?

If you are a business owner and would like to host Queen K’s Permanent Jewelry as a pop up shop or for an event in your store please send an email with the date and any relevant information. Email linked@qkpermanents.shop or send a message to 662-799-1193 to coordinate a date and time.

Be a Private Party Host:

You can now book private parties and events! We love LINKED parties. Each party is allotted 2 hours, however if additional time is needed, this time can be adjusted. The best part is that we come to you. You choose where you want your party to be.

We'd be honored to be apart of your private event!  Grab your family/friends and mark a date for your bridal party, birthdays, weddings, store grand openings, brunches, or girls night and help make it a day to remember. Or surprise them with a permanent jewelry booth...They'll love it!

Requirements:

1. A minimum of 6 guests purchasing permanent jewelry are required for a private party.
2. A $50 refundable booking fee is required at the time of booking to confirm and hold your event. Booking fee is refundable ONLY IF all party requirements are met the day of the event. Host also receives a FREE bracelet or anklet
3. You and your guests will choose chains on the day of the event. Each purchased piece can be paid for individually by guests or combined as a group.
4. Parties with more than 20 attendees please contact us at linked@qkpermanents.shop to ensure adequate supplies will be available for your event.
5. Parties that are 30 miles or more from Warner Robins, GA (31093) will require a travel fee. There is a travel fee for private events if the event is more than 30 miles away. The fee structure is as follows:

                     30-45 miles – $50 fee 

                     46-60 miles – $75 fee

                     61-75 miles – $100 fee

                     76+ miles – TBD

6. Due to custom services being provided, all pieces are non- refundable.

7. You may reschedule as long as I have the date available.  I ask for at least a 72 hours notice if you need to reschedule or cancel your event. I am more than happy to reschedule and apply your deposit to a future event (based on availability) if you give at least a 72 hours notice.  If you reschedule or cancel your event less then 72 hours prior to your event, your booking fee is non-refundable, and a new booking fee will be required to book a future event.
